The stronger the sunshine, the more electricity is produced. The output of a PV cell is measured in kilowatt peak (kWp) - that's the amount of energy the cell generates in full, direct, sunlight. The table below outlines the new Feed-In Tariffs. Depending on how much electricity you generate, you will be paid a tax-free, index-linked tariff for every KwH you use and a slightly higher rate ( plus 0.03 pence/KwH) for the excess that you feed to the Grid.
