| Alva Northern - Renewable Energy For Horticulture.
There are grants available for towards the cost of installing: Wind Turbines, Wood Fuel Heating (Biomass), Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar Power (Thermal Hot Water & Photovoltaics), Small Scale Hydro, Air Source Heat Pumps. To be eligible to receive a Low Carbon Buildings Programme Grant you must use a Certified Installer and a Certified Product. Alva Group Surveyors will be happy to advise you on grants and technical details.
The following (Combined Heat & Power) technologies will also qualify for funding once accredited installers and products become available.

Applications for a grant are welcome from private individuals who own their own home or farmhouse and reside in properties located within England, Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland (excluding the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands).

Please note: There is a £2,500 grant cap per household. Householders can apply for grants for more than one technology, but the funding will be limited up to a maximum of £2,500 per household, depending on technologies involved, and to one grant per technology type.
